Founder & Managing Partner

Tammy Grinnan, Founder & Managing Partner, leads BWS Partners and is an accounting and finance professional with experience in nonprofit healthcare, financial operations, project management, and real estate financial management.

Tammy founded BWS Partners to help organizations and leaders navigate financial and operational complexity with clarity and confidence. Drawing on her professional experience, she built the firm to connect sound financial management with practical business strategy. Her goal is to help nonprofits, growing businesses, and real estate organizations strengthen their operations, make informed decisions, and build a foundation for sustainable growth.

Her experience includes budgeting, financial reporting, grant accounting, audit preparation, internal controls, accounting system implementation, and coordinating projects from planning through execution. She understands the challenges organizations face when managing daily operations while preparing for growth and change, and brings a collaborative, hands-on approach to every engagement.

Tammy holds a Master’s degree in Cyber Investigation in forensic studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting), both from the University of Baltimore. Her academic background also includes graduate studies in the Master of Real Estate Development program at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her approach combines financial discipline, analytical thinking, practical problem-solving, and thoughtful project execution.

Laniqua Turner, CPA

Laniqua Turner is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial operations. Her background spans healthcare, nonprofit, and corporate environments, where she has helped organizations strengthen financial processes, improve reporting, and make informed business decisions.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Laniqua combines technical accounting expertise with a practical approach to financial management. She translates financial information into actionable insights, helping leaders evaluate performance, manage resources, and plan for the future.

Through her partnership with BWS Partners, Laniqua brings a collaborative approach to helping clients achieve greater financial clarity, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. Her focus aligns with the firm’s commitment to connecting sound financial management with practical business strategy.
